Morning! Happy Wednesday, it’s been a minute…
Let’s start with some exciting things at the studio:
Our first full rebrand project, GINNY , was featured on Dieline (!!), which still feels surreal to say. If you haven’t been following my socials (rude), GINNY is a new drink company coming out of Toronto. The tagline we coined "REFRESH YOUR SPIRIT NATURALLY" really embodies the soul of the brand. Btw, if you ever get the chance to meet Thanyia or Bianci, you’ll get it. Their energy is effortless, real, and honestly just makes you feel good. I know that sounds cheesy, but I mean it. I’ve got a serious ride-or-die thing for this brand. <3
Oh, and the taste? TRUST ME. You will be obsessed. For the NYC homies, you might start seeing it everywhere very soon.
Two weeks ago, Get Golden dropped their new Vanilla Protein Powder and new website. I worked on the wire framing which honestly became one of my favourite site builds so far. I also helped shape the copy, and one of my favourite lines is:
We count every ingredient.
Formulated to be fully transparent — no fillers, no gimmicks, just clean, efficient, high-protein fuel for your daily moves.
I’ve been testing it for a few months now, and it’s become part of my morning routine. I blend it into my coffee. I’ve never been a huge protein powder fan, but this one genuinely tastes amazing.

This week, we launched the landing page for Bastét., a ritual-based oral care brand I’m so excited about. What’s coming next is stunning design-forward, ingredient-conscious, and you’ll want it on your sink. Trust me.
The founder, Ally, is incredibly low-key, but you should definitely subscribe to her newsletter . If you’re into health and wellness and love real recommendations grounded in research, she’s one to watch.
What I’m reading and loving lately
On the topic of newsletters, I’m really loving
newsletter . I became a paid sub instantly. I’m also keeping up with Feed Me , (I love the Link In Bio Discord), and (this one is great for events, and new gigs)Also loving what
has been doing with her “Into The Fridge” series on , her POV has always been one I admire, but I’m especially into the real-time shares she’s been posting in Notes. If you have any recs, I’m in the mood for something new, leave recs in comments for others to check out.
How I’m evolving my client contracts (and why it matters)
As I take on more projects including a few new web builds and possibly two tech clients I’ve been thinking a lot about how to make my work work better. Not just in terms of creative output, but also in how I protect my time, energy, and process.
This past year taught me so much about boundaries. When you’re juggling multiple clients, things move fast. And while most relationships are collaborative and respectful, I’ve learned that clarity is what keeps things running smoothly.
So, I started refining my contracts. Not from a place of defensiveness, but from experience — and from a desire to protect the relationship before problems arise.
Here are two updates that have made a huge difference:
60-Day Written Notice Clause
Either party may terminate the agreement with 60 days written notice. During that period, both parties are expected to fulfill their obligations, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Creative work isn’t transactional it’s layered, iterative, and often deeply personal. This clause ensures that if a project needs to wrap up, it happens with care. It gives both sides time to close loops, hand off assets, stay accountable to what’s been agreed upon, and transition thoughtfully. It's about maintaining integrity in the process even when things shift.
It’s not about “protection” it’s about honouring the work that’s already been done.
Another one I’ve added:
Platform Access & Continuity Clause
Client must maintain access to platforms, tools, and communication channels necessary for delivery. If access is removed prematurely, the Consultant may issue a final invoice and cease work without penalty.
This one is simple: if I don’t have access, I can’t do the work. This clause sets a clear boundary around deliverables, timelines, and IP. It creates a shared understanding of what’s needed to keep the process moving — and also protects your intellectual property by ensuring the terms of use, access, and compensation are clearly outlined from the start.
Side note: If you're in Montreal, there’s a new spot on Saint Laurent called House of Vitae
it’s their flagship location. In addition to workout classes, they’ve carved out space for co-working, and I think this might be my new go-to when I need to get out of the house.
Doing the work before the work
One shift I’ve made recently is building in a short internal audit phase before scoping projects especially when stepping into teams with a lot of moving parts.
It’s a chance to get a feel for the actual internal structure: What tools are being used? Where do approvals live? What might interfere with execution?
It also creates space to assess alignment. Sometimes, the best move is opting out of a project altogether and, when done with honesty and transparency, that decision can help maintain a positive relationship and even open the door for referring someone who’s a better fit.
Ultimately, this step helps me build scopes that reflect reality, not assumption and leads to stronger work on both sides.
Anyway, that’s what’s been going on over at Nobody Knows Studio this past month. I’m honestly just feeling really grateful — both for the people I get to work with and for the chance to watch some of the most passionate humans bring their ideas to life.
Hopefully you’ve checked out some of the brands I mentioned (and maybe even updated your contract 👀).
I’ll keep sharing more as it comes — lessons, wins, and whatever’s next.
